If you plan on coming this Sunday (or any Sunday) and you have young children, a disability or are elderly, take advantage of our valet parking. Just pull up to the front of the YMCA and we will take it from there.

We also promise that the attendants will actually be looking for you, not at the CrossWalk sign!!!

Looking for a church on Easter? Why not check out CrossWalk? Maybe the wife has been buggin’ you to go, or you feel like you have to show up somewhere on Easter to keep your parents off your back, or maybe you know something is missing in your life and your pretty sure it’s God.

Simply put, we are a church expecting guests! We are expecting you. We aren’t going to smother you with hugs, but you won’t be ignored either. We are here to make you feel welcome. Stepping inside the doors of a church (or a YMCA in our case) can be very intimidating. We are here to help your church experience be a positive one.

Launch!

CrossWalk officially opens its doors on Easter morning 2008. If you don't have a church home, have given up on church, want a new start or are looking for something a bit different than you are used to in a church, come experience CrossWalk! Keep checking our blog for updated launch information.

What is taking so long?

Are you perplexed like this man? "Why haven't you started your church yet?"...you may ask.

If you check out this blog on a regular basis, you may wonder why we are waiting until the spring to launch CrossWalk. Why not just go for it now? There are various reasons, but here are probably the top two:

- People! People! People! It takes people to make a church “go.” It’s God’s church, but we are His hands. We are developing a launch team that will make your Sunday morning experience excellent.

- Practice! Practice! Practice! We want to launch with excellence. So we are preparing and practicing for our launch (think of it as a grand opening).We want to have your church experience to be outstanding. When you leave after our service on a Sunday morning, we want you to say, “That is what church should be like!” Without boring you with the details, that takes some time. Trust us, we can’t wait to launch.

A side note - We will also be launching our website early in 2008. This blog will stay active (it will be linked on the front page of our web site).

Weather Update - CANCELLED For Sunday December 16th

Sunday, December 16 Cancelled!!!!

Due to the ice, we are cancelling the service at CrossWalk today. Depending on where you live you received varying levels of ice. Better to be safe than sorry.

If you are reading Just Walk Across the Room with us, this might be a good week to catch up and nobody will be the wiser. :)

If you are making a gift basket to give to a friend, neighbor, someone in need, etc. we want to hear your story! Take a picture of you and your basket and let me know how it went when you delivered it.

A new church is launching in spring 2008. We are building our launch team right now. Would you like to be part of a church that is fun, fresh, innovative, exciting, and relevant? A church that has purpose and meaning. A church for people who have given up on church. A church where you won’t feel uncomfortable as a visitor.
